TV property makeover experts, such as Colin and Justin, have sparked a buyers' backlash against "house-doctored" homes, it's been claimed. Some would-be buyers are put off because they think they are too messy or "not posh enough" to buy homes which have had a TV-inspired revamp.
Tracy Kellett, of home finders BDI Property Search, said: "You can spot a house-doctored house a mile off and most clients now think they look sterile and soulless."
