Finding a home should only take six weeks
3 January 2010
“Being unrealistic about what your budget can buy is the single biggest factor in why it takes most people so long to buy a home”, says professional home finder Tracy Kellett.
“If you’ve done your research and you know what your money can actually get you, it should take no longer than six weeks from start to finish.”
Tracy, who founded buying agency BDI Home Finders in 2006 says that many clients come to her after two years of unsuccessful home hunting. “They’ve clearly been wasting their time,” she said.
