Other would-be buyers are deterred because they think they are 'not posh enough' to live in the designer-style homes. Property expert Tracey Kellett of home finders BDI Property Search said: "Around 80 per cent of buyers want a property they can do up so they are looking at what they can change rather than how the house looks now.
